A fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the HR portfolio across WA and SA/NT while being fully supported by an engaged national HR team. This role suits someone confident in ER and IR, influencing senior leaders, and driving culture in a fast paced, unionised environment.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources (National) and the WA CEO, you will ensure strong local alignment while maintaining national consistency. You will lead the HR agenda for both states, including enterprise bargaining, ER IR matters, workforce planning and organisational change.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and build strong, positive union relationships
• Provide specialist advice on complex ER and IR issues
• Represent the organisation at the Fair Work Commission with support from the National IR Manager
• Drive workforce planning and partner with leaders through organisational change
• Work closely with national HR teams and Centres of Excellence to deliver consistent HR practices
About You:
• 5 plus years experience in senior HR or ER IR roles within a large unionised organisation
• Proven experience leading EA negotiations, or strong involvement and ready to step up
• Strong capability managing complex ER matters
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing ability
• Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and industrial instruments
• Experience supporting and delivering organisational change
• Experience within the health or pathology sector
• Familiarity with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award
• Training or workshop delivery experience
