Assistant Store Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Store Manager to lead our team and drive sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to analyze and organize stock to maximize sales potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver and exceed sales budgets and growth expectations;
* Effectively manage store rosters and timesheet approvals;
* Lead by example in customer service, ensuring staff are trained to deliver above and beyond service;
* Maintain visual standards and merchandising stock to maximize sales potential;
* Work with HR to recruit team members with the correct cultural fit and competencies;
* Provide a quality induction and introduction to the brand and store operation;
* Provide direction and appropriate feedback to the team;
* Proactive approach in loss prevention/stock management.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a fast-paced retail sales or hospitality environment;
* Strong commercial acumen to achieve outstanding sales budgets and KPIs;
* An eye for detail and high visual merchandising standards;
* Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills;
* The ability to analyze and organize stock to maximize sales on the shop floor;
* Strong interpersonal skills to engage, motivate and lead a team to reach their potential;
* Possession of a passion and knowledge of the brand or art toys.
