Overview of Role
An opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Planner to join the team at our Moorabbin manufacturing plants. The Maintenance Planner will provide logistical support to the maintenance teams in applying the TPM maintenance management strategy. The position will initially report to the Reliability Engineering Manager ANZ.
Key responsibilities
Manage the CMMS (MEX)
Generate planned and corrective maintenance schedules and ensure work feedback through work orders is timely fed back into the maintenance management system
Plan maintenance work and ensure availability and adequacy of all resources (spares, tools, manpower and time) required for the work before scheduling
Manage spare parts sourcing and ordering to ensure timely availability and control of inventory
Coordinate and oversee contractor services, ensuring compliance with site safety and performance standards
Work order loop closure in the CMMS (MEX)
Support the trades in their maintenance work execution
Facilitate problem solving so that equipment availability and efficiency is maximised, breakdowns minimised and manufacturing costs are kept to a minimum
Provide actual and planned work costing reports
Support activities related to the deployment of the asset management strategy
Qualifications / To be successful
Trade background, with industry experience or tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline
Previous experience in planning and scheduling roles preferably within a maintenance or project management environment
Experience with spare parts procurement, ordering and contractor management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
CMMS knowledge and experience, preferably with MEX
Excellent data analysis and report writing skills
Awareness of occupational health, safety and environment legislation and requirements
Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work autonomous and as part of a team
Persistent and resilient in driving outcome
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Time and priority management
Must have permanent right to work in Australia
