About this opportunity:
* We are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join our warehouse team in Launceston.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, receiving and accurately recording goods inwards, as well as preparing goods for and ensuring timely dispatch of all customer orders.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory management procedures
* Preparing customer orders, including procurement and dispatch of products
* Reviewing and controlling stock levels, re-ordering product as required
* Providing exceptional service to customers in the warehouse area and directing them to other areas for additional support if required
* Communicating effectively with team members about inventory matters, including order delays and potential product reorders
* Coordinating warehouse processes to ensure efficient receipt and dispatch of product
* Maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment that meets legal storage requirements
* Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and compliance by identifying and reporting hazards in the workplace
