Restoration Technician Job Description
The role of a Restoration Technician involves performing various tasks to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintaining the professional appearance of equipment and assigned vehicles. This position requires providing quality, consistent, efficient work that represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.
Job Responsibilities:
* Performing demolition, labor-intensive tasks, inventory, loading work vehicles, and maintaining cleanliness and organization
* Preparing rooms for work activities and setting up staging areas and equipment for each project
* Adhering to safety and risk management guidelines and communicating with restoration supervisors and other technicians
* Performing end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving job sites clean and orderly
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Effective communication, basic math, and computer skills
* Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred, high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license
* Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
* Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces
* Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods, repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
* Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals, travel locally and out of state when necessary
* Successfully completing a background check subject to applicable law
