About The Role
Act as the technical expert for composite manufacturing and assembly processes, including structural integration, system installation, GD&T interpretation, and end-to-end aircraft build sequencing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Suppliers, design, test, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, compliance with standards, and optimized assembly processes under fast-paced timelines.
Serve as the primary on-site expert for resolving issues across structural, mechanical and integration domains, driving RCCA.
Have a foundational knowledge of electrical integration with a strong intent to grow in cross-functional domains.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of critical components and tooling, maintaining traceability as required.
Mentor and guide junior manufacturing engineers and technicians, fostering a hands-on, solution-driven culture, driving continuous improvement.
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date work instructions, assembly fixtures, and value stream maps tailored for low-volume, high-complexity prototype builds, ensuring a balance between quality, efficiency, and safety.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
6–8 years of hands-on experience in composite manufacturing and assembly in the aerospace sector.
Deep understanding of composite materials, bonding techniques, and aircraft structural integration, fastening.
Proficient in GD&T, CAD tools (preferred NX) ,and PLM systems.
Strong knowledge of quality standards and certification process.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic prototype environment.
