About the roles
gforce employment + recruitment, on behalf of our client, a local government organisation, we are currently seeking Street Cleaning Labourers for roles based in Ballarat, for an immediate start.
What's in it for you?
* Casual rate of between $34-35p/h plus overtime
* Full-time hours Monday-Friday
* Opportunity to go permanent
Responsibilities/Requirements include, but are not limited to:
* MR Truck Drivers licence and experience required
* Emptying public litter bins and removing dumped rubbish
* Driving designated routes according to the daily cleaning schedule
* Collecting litter from footpaths, parks, and public areas
* Removing debris, leaves, and rubbish from gutters, drains, and around bins
* Using high-pressure hoses or blowers for cleaning
* Reporting graffiti, hazards, or damage to council assets
* Working early mornings and in all weather conditions
* Following safe work procedures and traffic management rules
* Interacting courteously with the public
* Provide own PPE, including steel cap boots, work pants, hi vis and wet weather gear.
* Ability to provide a driver licence history report
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen and police check
For the successful candidates these are casual day shift roles Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm.
