We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will simulate, plan and treat patients with ionizing radiation in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining technical radiation therapy standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist looking to contribute to the continuous development of clinical protocols and techniques within a dynamic team. You will work closely with professionals performing state-of-the-art techniques and enjoy a great work/life balance with a standard 9 day fortnight and the option for 4 day weeks when staffing numbers allow.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in all aspects of modern Image Guided Radiation Therapy, including online CBCT review with Soft Tissue matching. They will also possess advanced planning techniques incorporating multi-modality image registration for techniques such as IMRT and VMAT.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a dedicated commitment to providing excellent and safe individual patient care, balanced against providing an efficient service for all patients. They will be an open and friendly communicator with demonstrated communication skills in written, verbal, and electronic formats.

What We Are Looking For
A strong educational background in medical radiation science or a related field is required. The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in medical radiation science (radiation therapy) or a Bachelor of Applied Science. They will also hold general registration as a medical radiation therapist by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess current certification in IA13 and S13 Radiation User Licence (NSW EPA Licence). Recent and demonstrated sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of modern Image Guided Radiation Therapy, as well as recent and demonstrated experience and technical skills in advanced Planning techniques are highly desirable.
