Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency responsible for safeguarding and preserving Australia\'s national documentary heritage - including government records, historical documents, and digital assets of enduring national significance.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this senior role sits at the heart of the agency\'s ICT transformation agenda. You will work closely with program and project managers to guide whole-of-agency technology initiatives, translating complex business needs into pragmatic architecture solutions. This is a rare opportunity to shape the modernisation of a critical national institution whose work underpins government accountability and collective memory for generations of Australians.
Key Responsibilities
Provide thought leadership
on enterprise platform modernisation and cloud architecture
Collaborate with stakeholders, business representatives, and technical resources
to understand and translate our business needs into practical technology solutions
Work with our technology team and technical architects
to identify and develop the most appropriate technology stack for the services we are seeking to deliver.
Identify system, infrastructure and project interdependencies
and balance competing demands to ensure outcomes can be achieved.
Translate needs into architectural artefacts
such as roadmaps and architecture blueprints (business, applications, data, technology), current and future-state architecture, and detailed solution overviews and diagrams.
Key Experience and Skills
Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect
in leading the modernisation and digitisation of a complex traditional technology platform
Experience in strategic business objectives
and developing a Technology Roadmap
Experience in establishing and managing architecture governance
Relevant industry training or certifications in related methodologies
such as TOGAF.
Experience creating architecture roadmaps, target and transition architectures
Demonstrated ability to plan, design and communicate high level plans
to successfully deliver ICT change initiatives aligned with strategic goals of the organisation.
Security Requirements Applicants must hold an active
Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
(or higher) to be considered.
