Who we are looking for

We have an ongoing full-time position for a Safety, Risk & Resilience Support Officer, based in Warrnambool. This position comes with a generous salary of $76,134 to $87,789 p.a. plus superannuation.

We're looking for a capable and energetic individual to help drive smarter, safer and more resilient operations across our organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your systems thinking, coordination skills and attention to detail in a role that supports risk, safety, emergency management and continual improvement, all while helping our people work more confidently and effectively.


Job Description

What you'll be doing

On a day-to-day basis, you'll:

* Providing coordination, support and practical guidance across safety, risk and emergency management activities.
* Leading the maintenance and improvement of safety and quality software systems.
* Supporting internal audits, risk workshops and emergency response coordination.
* Developing user-friendly documentation and delivering training to help others navigate systems with ease.
* Working with people across all parts of the business - from water treatment plants to corporate teams - to make sure systems are working for them.


Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who brings a mix of organisation, initiative and a people focus to their work. You might have experience in administration, coordination or systems support, and enjoy roles where you can:

* Build relationships and help others find easier ways of working.
* Work independently and manage competing priorities with confidence.
* Create clear, accurate and well-organised documentation and training materials.
* Use software systems and data to support good decision-making.

Experience with integrated management systems or safety/risk frameworks is ideal, but just as important as a proactive and mindset and willingness to learn.
