Our Positive Behaviour Support Model encompasses the multidisciplinary expertise of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologists to understand the drivers of behaviours from communication, sensory, and environmental perspectives.
Job Description
An opening has become available for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner living in Werribee or nearby to join our professional and friendly team.
Thanks to our commitment to service excellence, demand for our services continues to grow. We require an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will...
1. Support our clients (NDIS participants), along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
2. Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilizing The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community.
3. Develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
4. Ensure individual plans reflect our clients' goals, passions, and strengths.
5. Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support our clients - family, carers, friends, etc.

About you
* Current suitability (i.e., registration) with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential.
* Demonstrated ability to work positively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Outstanding communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
* Confident computer skills.
* Flawless writing skills.
* Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle.
Qualifications
* Degree-level qualifications relevant to providing supports to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred.
