We are Australia’s largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.The OpportunityThe Logistics Coordinator manages day-to-day transport operations for our Silverwater site a part of the Health Services division. You will ensure the transport component of the business is operated most cost -effectively and efficiently. This role will also include.Manage route optimisation, ensuring efficient use of resourcesEnsuring compliance with transport regulations and operating procedures are followed and adhered tooEnsure all fleet vehicles and staff are compliant and all activities are aligned with Cleanaway’s policies and proceduresManage GPS tracking systems and route sequencing to ensure optimum utilisation of fleet, identify and rectify faultsVerifying and meeting established deadlines through managementCoordinate daily schedules to support customer requirements and intercompany transfers of wasteCommunicate the planning of fleet activities to all internal stakeholders to ensure plant operation is optimised and supported dailyUndertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directedAbout YouYou will have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, and pride yourself on your ability to deliver value to customers. Ideally, you will hold prior experience within the transport, logistics or waste sectors.
