looking for your next challenge? We have an immediate-start, 3-month contract role with a high potential for permanency. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and manage the end-to-end loan application process.
The Role
You will be responsible for interviewing customers and providing expert guidance on our lending criteria for both home and personal loans. Your primary duties will involve the comprehensive assessment of loan applications, ensuring thorough analysis of eligibility, character, affordability, and security.
You'll be loading and processing applications through the Loan Origination System, advising members of their approval status, and preparing all necessary contracts and compliance documents. The role also includes managing loan administration tasks like processing variations and handling discharge requests. You will be instrumental in identifying business development opportunities and ensuring all lending activities comply with regulatory codes and policies, including the Financial Services Reform (FSR) legislation.
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, manage a pipeline of applications, and maintain clear communication with customers and third-party solicitors. Your ability to workshop scenarios with supervisors to achieve the best customer outcomes will be highly valued.
