Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Front Office Operation
1. Conduct daily briefings and ensure all team members receive pertinent information.
2. Manage and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service and departmental standards.
3. Review and improve workflow and standards at the Front Desk.
4. Analyze rate variance reports to control room revenue, approve discounts and rebates.
5. Communicate with the Front Office Manager regarding guest services and hotel operations.
6. Document all guest-related issues in the logbook.
7. Sign media and supervise shift handover procedures.
8. Coordinate with other hotel departments on administrative and operational matters.
9. Provide management presence by assisting with guest needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently.
10. Assist Guest Relations in greeting, rooming, and farewelling guests.
11. Regularly inspect the front of house and back of house for cleanliness and orderliness.
12. Ensure staff complies with marketing techniques to maximize sales.
13. Check billing instructions, monitor guest credit, and address discrepancies.
14. Coordinate full house situations, overbooking, and guest relocations.
15. Ensure the On-Call Valet Desks and driveways are properly staffed and efficient.
16. Ensure safety, security, and loss control policies are followed, and handle hotel emergencies.
17. Conduct Night Audit processes.
Qualifications
Hotel Management Diploma or Degree
