About the role
Permanent or fixed term temporary full time and part opportunity to contribute to patient care in Redcliffe Hospital by providing advanced clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of a pharmacist. Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, in a non-clinical capacity, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist conforming to current legislative and regulatory requirements.
About you
- Provide education to patients on the use of a defined range of medications, medication aids and devices under the guidance of a pharmacist.
- Prepare, distribute and dispense pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a Pharmacist, operating within the limitations and boundaries of the role according to current legislative requirements.
- Involvement in vaccine preparation in accordance with the relevant procedures and processes required for specialised storage, distribution/handing and administration of vaccines.
