Joining our Site Assessment and Remediation group means you'll work alongside our team of leading environmental scientists, engineers, hydrogeologists, risk assessors and environmental auditors who are dedicated to helping you grow and succeed. You'll gain hands‐on experience in assessing and remediating contaminated land, while also developing essential skills in client engagement, proposal development, and project management.

About the role

Focused on the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites, our projects span various scales, locations, and industries. You'll collaborate with a diverse array of clients on in the infrastructure, PFAS, petroleum or industrial chemical space.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct fieldwork for a variety of contaminated site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, while supervising the operation of heavy plant and drilling equipment.
* Observe, guide, and document site remediation activities to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
* Manage, interpret, and ensure the quality of data through rigorous quality assurance and quality control processes.
* Assist in writing client proposals, project correspondence, and technical reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

About you

You will ideally have these qualifications and attributes:

* A degree in and passion for Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology or other related disciplines.
* A minimum of 2 years field work experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative team‐based attitude.
* Experience with data management (Esdat) plus proficiency with Excel formulas.
* A genuine enthusiasm for producing high‐quality work that delivers practical solutions for our clients.
* Attention to detail and a proactive safety first mentality to care for yourself, your team, and those working around us.
* Willingness to undertake remote fieldwork across Australia.
* Permanent residency in Australia.
* An Australian driver's license.
