Ace Waste│State Sales Manager
Ace Waste is an Australian family owned and operated company providing professional waste management strategies for the collection and disposal or Regulated and Prescribed Industrial Wastes throughout Queensland and Victoria. Ace Waste services are tailored to Hospitals, Health Care Facilities, Medical professionals, Vets along with the Shipping Industry, Biosecurity Premises, Pharmaceutical Companies and varied Commercial and Industrial entities.
A new position exists for a self-motivated Sales Manager who demonstrates excellent understanding of strategic service selling techniques and a proven track record in leading and growing a sales team.
Based in Ace Waste's Victorian facility in Dandenong South, you will have the opportunity to tactically grow market share in the waste management industry, and build and lead the Victorian Sales team. This role will play a crucial part in the rapid expansion of the brand, guidance of the sales team and the continued success of the company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Proactively developing strong business connections with key stakeholders by approaching new businesses, whilst servicing/maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Effectively generate environmentally sustainable solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Ability to effectively lead, guide, build and manage a motivated Sales team
- Co-ordinating sales processes by collaborating with internal and external parties
- Responsible for the growth/maintenance of new and existing business relating to various commercial and industrial wastes
- Recording and maintaining revenue reports for sales team and providing quarterly budget forecasts
- Creating and implementing a detailed Business Plan for Queensland Market
The successful applicant will possess the following skills/ attributes:
- Effective communication skills; both verbal and written
- A polished business manager who is immaculately presented
- Ability to demonstrate solid organisational skills, effective productivity habits and excellent command of decision-making, problem solving, planning and negotiating skills
- Even temperament to handle high-pressure situations well and still perform at a high standard and deliver quality work in a timely manner
- Proven track record in Sales & Sales Management
- A minimum of 5-8 years of sales management experience is required
- Waste Industry experience
- A minimum of 1-3 years of waste industry experience is required
- Australian work rights are required for this position
