Position Overview
Help provide the latest best practice services for anyone who needs it. Gain skills with Australia’s largest provider of government-funded hearing care. This is a permanent, part-time position – 2 days/week on Thursdays and Fridays (8:30am-5:30pm), working onsite at the Gladstone location.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and attend to all counter and telephone enquiries.
Handle reception duties and general administration, including booking appointments, processing claims, data entry, and reporting.
Engage extensively with clients from diverse backgrounds, including children, adults, multicultural, and Indigenous communities.
Perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting.
Assist Clinicians with clinical services by identifying client needs, providing advice, and demonstrating hearing aid use.
Qualifications and Skills
Proactive problem-solving skills and responsibility-taking attitude.
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, with familiarity with mobile technology (Apple and Android).
