You will be responsible for;Crafting Precise BOQs : Create full base Bill of Quantities (BOQs) from master documentation, ensuring accurate base house pricing and efficient ordering processes.Collaborating for Consistency : Work closely with Masters Drafting to ensure seamless consistency between BOQs, drawings, and construction methods, delivering top-tier accuracy.Ongoing BOQ and Price File Enhancements : Continuously improve and maintain both BOQs and price files, ensuring they reflect the most current and competitive data.Streamlining Estimation Processes : Develop ordering recipes, mini-bills, and other tools to support the estimating team in delivering fast and precise results.Managing the VPB Database : Take ownership of the VPB database, conducting regular reviews to keep things running smoothly.Supporting Sales Team with Timely Estimates : Provide sales estimating and pricing support to the sales team, ensuring all quotes are accurate and delivered on time.Tendering and Cost Analysis : Accurately price new projects, including terrace and duplex builds, while conducting cost analysis on both new and existing designs.Collaborating with Construction Teams : Stay in the loop with construction teams, handling any BOQ changes and improvements.Follow-Up Calls : Conduct follow-up calls as needed to ensure smooth project progression.Maintaining Accurate Records : Be mindful of forecast dates and ensure that all job details are recorded correctly and up to date.Reporting and Documentation : Provide insightful reports and keep workflow documentation updated for transparency and efficiency.Assisting the Estimating Manager : Support the Estimating Manager with tasks and documentation as needed, ensuring smooth operations.About YouAt Glenvill, we believe that quality is not just an outcome—it's an attitude.
We are looking for someone who shares this passion for excellence and brings strong experience within the construction industry, specifically in Sales Estimating within the residential building space (a must for this role).
You will have a high level of proficiency with key software packages such as DataBuild, TrueView / Blue Beam (or similar), Framework, Click Homes, and Microsoft Office (Excel) .
Your experience will be backed by at least 12 months in a residential volume building environment, ensuring you bring a solid foundation of industry knowledge.You will approach your work with a calm, mature demeanor and exceptional efficiency, even when juggling multiple priorities.
In addition to your professional skills, you will be a valuable team player with a great sense of humor, contributing to the fun, collaborative atmosphere we foster.
