To proactively manage all aspects of the Customer relationships, including Account Action plans, Contract negotiations and providing profitable share of wallet growth within the nominated Power Zone. The primary focus of this role is sales growth of our industrial gases and welding consumable products within a defined power zone by proactive account management, regular customer visits and value creation via customer‐specific solutions and partnerships.

* Increase the profitability of the portfolio through effective price & contract management and product substitution
* Proactively retain and grow market share across all product groups
* Identify, develop and commercialise growth opportunities in existing customer accounts and new business prospects
* Develop mutually rewarding relationships with prospective and current customers
* Provide technical support and solutions and deliver outstanding customer experience
* Work collaboratively across internal functions
* Ensure prompt and professional resolution to all customer enquiries
* Conduct face‐to‐face contact calls with customers on a weekly basis
* Support and contribute to marketing initiatives, and understand, monitor and report competitor activity and market trends

* Thorough understanding of price and contract management
* Excellent time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High level of energy and confidence required in this role
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn and succeed
* Results‐focused approach and initiative
* Welding, Fabrication or similar trade experience would be highly advantageous
* Experience in growing existing accounts and lead generation & conversions
