Optical Dispenser/Assistant — Eyes on Docklands
Part-time (1-3 days per week, Monday–Friday, no weekends or late nights). We're looking for an experienced optical professional to assist our optometrist and provide quality dispensing advice at our independent community-focused practice.
About the role
You'll work closely with our optometrist and patients to ensure a seamless experience — from welcoming them at reception to assisting with eyewear selection and providing dispensing advice.
Your key responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service at the front desk.
Manage bookings, phone enquiries, and general administration.
Assist patients with frame and lens selection.
Support the optometrist and wider team in daily operations.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings both professionalism and warmth to their work. You'll have:
At least 5 years' experience in the optical or broader health industry.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A friendly, adaptable approach and genuine care for patients.
Confidence in handling both dispensing and administrative duties.
