Overview
Bush Fire Brigade volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local communities are safe. Volunteer firefighters are trained and equipped to carry out a range of activities.
Responsibilities
* Emergency response to bush and scrub fires
* Undertaking local fire prevention activities with the community
* Supporting other emergency service agencies as required
* Community education and engagement

Time Required
* 1 - 2 training session per month during the season.
* Occasional weekend training exercises throughout the year when available.
* Attend emergency callouts when available.
Training
* All training and personal protective clothing & equipment is provided.
* New members are required to complete basic training prior to attending incidents.
