Medical Physics Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Physics Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Physics Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clinical physics and quality assurance services that ensure a safe and effective radiotherapy service for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing specialist advice in the technical and scientific aspects of radiotherapy delivery and treatment planning.
* Independently performing highly accurate routine and non-routine dosimetry and geometric quality assurance measurements.
* Collecting, processing, and analyzing radiation beam data from radiotherapy equipment for entry into treatment planning systems.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has:
* Certification in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics (ACPSEM, IPEM, HCPC, ABR, ABMP, CCPM, IMPCB).
* A strong understanding of medical physics principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Great time-management skills enabling you to manage your assigned tasks and achieving quality outcomes.
* A problem-solving, solution-focused, proactive mindset.
