About the Role
We're looking for an experienced UAT professional who wants to make a genuine impact on how digital services are delivered to Queenslanders. As a Senior Advisor (User Acceptance Testing), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and uplifting UAT capability across a complex, customer‐facing service environment.
Working closely with business, project and technical teams, you'll help ensure new and enhanced digital products are fit for purpose, reliable and ready for real‐world use. This role offers the opportunity to influence testing practices, support innovative delivery, and contribute to services used daily by frontline staff and the community.
If you enjoy working at the intersection of technology, people and process, and want a role where your expertise directly improves service outcomes, we'd love to hear from you!
Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced and proactive UAT professional who enjoys working across multiple initiatives and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable operating in ambiguity, can translate business needs into effective testing strategies, and are confident providing clear, evidence‐based advice to senior stakeholders.
You will bring a strong understanding of UAT within service delivery or digital environments, along with experience developing or reviewing test strategies, coordinating testing activities and supporting teams through change. While you do not need to be deeply technical, you are able to work effectively with technical teams and vendors and understand how system changes impact frontline operations. You value collaboration and quality outcomes, enjoy coaching others, improving processes and building sustainable capability rather than simply delivering one‐off testing activities.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
* Influence how UAT is planned, governed and delivered across Service Centre Operations
* Work on meaningful systems that support everyday interactions with Queenslanders
* Contribute to improved digital outcomes through stronger testing practices and assurance
* Be part of a supportive team that values professionalism, flexibility and continuous improvement
We offer flexible working arrangements, a positive and inclusive workplace culture and the chance to make a genuine contribution to public service delivery.
If you are motivated by quality, enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology and want to help shape how digital services are delivered and improved, we encourage you to apply.
Applications may remain current for 12 months.
