Job Description
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across wholesale, distribution and OEM channels in NSW.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
* Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Business Development Manager Should Have
* Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the Smart Infrastructure/IoT sector OR the Building Supplies sector.
* Strong understanding economics.
* Strong understanding of the NSW market and client base.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A valid driver's licence for travel within NSW.
