THE ROLE
We are seeking a qualified Developer Programmer to design, develop and maintain customised software applications and digital solutions to support client business operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to analyse user needs, test functionality, and implement system enhancements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Analyse client business requirements and design customised software applications to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.
* Develop, test and implement web-based and enterprise applications using modern programming languages, frameworks and development tools.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring reliable system performance and user functionality.
* Collaborate with clients, analysts and project teams to deliver tailored IT solutions that meet technical and business objectives.
* Integrate applications with databases, APIs and third-party platforms to support system connectivity and data exchange.
* Perform and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, testing procedures and user support materials.
* Conduct system testing, validation and deployment activities to ensure applications meet quality and security standards.
* Monitor, maintain and enhance existing software systems to improve performance, scalability and usability.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* Relevant qualification, such as a bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology (or agreed equivalent).
* Minimum of 1 year (preferably more) work experience as a Developer Programmer within software development.
* Experience developing web-based or enterprise applications, including front-end and back-end development.
* Knowledge of databases, SQL, and system integration, including APIs and cloud-based environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
* Experience with software testing, debugging and version control tools (e.g., Git).
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
* You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
WHAT IS ON OFFER:
* A competitive salary of $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum, dependent on experience.
