Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Return to Work Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our injury management process to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and facilitate safe, timely return to work for injured employees.
You will implement health monitoring procedures, liaise with health professionals and insurers, and provide strategic advice on workers compensation and injury management. Building strong internal relationships and promoting wellbeing across the organisation are key aspects of this position.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating injury management and workers compensation processes to ensure compliance and effective return-to-work outcomes.
* Developing and implementing health monitoring procedures, including organising providers and maintaining accurate records.
* Serving as the primary liaison with health professionals, insurers, and external injury management providers.
* Providing strategic and operational advice on injury management, including reporting trends and recommending improvements.
* Delivering training and presentations on workers compensation and injury management during corporate induction sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Certificate IV Human Resource Management, WHS or related discipline or experience deemed equivalent.
* Accreditation as a Return to Work Coordinator.
* Solid experience in proactive Return to Work Coordination including injury management, claims reviews, premium and claims monitoring and interpreting legislation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels within the business.
* Solid skills with computer systems and reporting on data.
* Solid demonstrated experience/capacity in providing reliable and professional advice to management.
