Purpose of position
To ensure that all parts are received and delivered to vehicles in a timely manner to assist with the flow of production.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving of parts
. Checking that all parts are received that have been invoiced for
Checking that all parts received are correct and undamaged
Returning and reordering any damage or incorrect part
Processing of invoices
Parts Distribution
. Delivering all parts to vehicles and confirming correct when vehicle has been moved into production
Additional Parts
Ensuring all additional parts are received in a timely manner when the vehicle is in production.
Advise the appropriate stakeholders of any parts delays that will impede the repairs being completed by the estimated completion date
Advise the appropriate managers of the arrival of back ordered parts.
Credits
Ensure all parts not required are processed for credit prior to repairs being completed
Estimating
Assist estimators with parts procurement when required
Parts Rooms
. Maintain a safe and clean working environment
. Ensure all parts in stock are for current repairs booked in
Shared responsibilities
Assist with ordering of additional parts when required
Perform any lawful instruction given by management
