Senior Occupational Therapist
Service Delivery Directorate - Child, Youth & Family Division
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Child Youth and Families Northern Hub Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team. This role supports children ages 0‐12 years old with areas of concern in activities of daily living including self‐care, fine and gross motor skills, play and productivity.
You'll work closely with children, families and teachers to identify goals and provide short‐term intervention and support to achieve these goals.
The team provides support to children through a wide range of service delivery models including face‐to‐face, telehealth and outreach clinics to both individuals and groups across the district.
We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with children and families, values team‐based multidisciplinary care and is interested in community‐based paediatric Occupational Therapy.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to expand their clinical skills, or a Level 2 Occupational Therapist to step into a Senior role and develop their leadership skills.
