This is your opportunity to join a leading multidisciplined civil and structural engineering contractor as a Business Development Manager, where your technical foundation meets your ambition for sales success.
As the key representative for the WA territory, you'll identify and develop new business opportunities across infrastructure and construction sectors.
You'll work directly with clients to solve complex engineering challenges, provide technical and commercial advice, and manage the full sales process — from first call to project delivery.
What you'll do
Grow long-term client relationships and deliver on strategic sales objectives.
Undertake site visits, client meetings, and cold calls to identify new opportunities.
Provide technical product and engineering advice to support client needs.
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager on pricing, forecasting, and sales strategy.
Contribute to sales targets through structured planning and effective account management.
What you'll bring
A Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (essential).
Some prior Australian B2B sales experience in the construction industry with a genuine passion for B2B sales and business development.
Strong communication skills and a self-driven, motivated mindset.
The ability to collaborate across disciplines to deliver tailored client solutions.
Full Australian working rights, with a clean driving licence (car).
Full product and sales training will be provided — you bring the technical know-how and ambition, and your employer will help you develop into a high-performing Business Development leader.
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with your experience as a Business Development Manager or Technical Sales Engineer, with potential to earn a salary of anywhere up to $200k+ per annum.
