Based in Yandina, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate payroll operations, employee lifecycle support and workplace relations guidance. This is a full‐time position within a supportive HR team that values accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement.Your new roleYou will provide specialist support across people, payroll and workplace relations, ensuring high‐quality service delivery to managers and employees. Working closely with HR leadership, you'll oversee payroll accuracy and compliance while contributing to a safe, positive and productive workplace.What you'll need to succeedDemonstrated experience in HR advisory, payroll management or a dual HR/payroll roleStrong understanding of end‐to‐end payroll processes and compliance requirementsSound knowledge of HR frameworks, employment legislation and workplace relationsExperience managing return-to-work coordination and injury management.Ability to provide confident, accurate HR and payroll advice to managers and staffHigh attention to detail and strong organisational/time‐management skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a small, collaborative HR teamExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesDesirableExperience supervising or coaching payroll staffExperience with Employment HeroExperience in process improvement or HR/payroll system enhancementsWhat you'll get in returnYou will join a respected organisation in a key HR position, supported by Hays throughout your engagement.
