Located at our Murray Bridge operation, CW Products is seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee day‑to‑day production activities across our manufacturing operations.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the person we are seeking will possess the following attributes:
* Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, ideally within a fast‑paced industrial setting
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate or oversee complex machinery
* A practical, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills
* Ability to think laterally and remain results‑focused under pressure
* Technically minded with the ability to understand production processes and workflows
* A proactive "can‑do" attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Experience with LEAN and continuous improvement
* Physically fit, with the ability to undertake manual handling tasks safely
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work
* Proven ability to lead a team toward achieving production, safety, and quality KPIs
Ideal Candidate Will:
* Oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing operations to meet quality, output, and delivery targets
* Coordinate production workflows, allocate tasks, and ensure optimal labour utilisation
* Provide hands‑on support to operators and lead by example on the factory floor
* Monitor production quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
* Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, conduct toolbox talks, and promote a strong safety culture
* Supervise quality control checks and ensure adherence to product specifications
* Lead root‑cause analysis for production issues and support preventative maintenance planning
* Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and KPI data
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing practices
* Train, mentor, and upskill operators, including onboarding new team members
* Liaise with internal stakeholders such as maintenance, logistics, and planning teams
* Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting where required
* Contribute to workflow optimisation and process improvement projects
* Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity
Qualifications:
* Forklift licence (essential)
* Current driver's licence (essential)
* Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment (essential)
* Experience with machine operation, setup, or tooling changes (advantageous)
* Familiarity with production scheduling, ERP systems, or reporting tools (advantageous)
