Our client, a local government agency is seeking a People and Culture (P&C;) Advisor to provide administrative support and help deliver essential P&C; services to employees across the organisation for an inital 3 month period This is a temporary, full time position working 35 hours per week. As a P&C; Advisor, you will be responsible for day-to-day P&C; administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supporting recruitment and selection, as well as employee onboarding and offboarding
- Processing forms and invoices and handling general correspondence
- Maintaining P&C; systems, including data entry, testing, and reporting
- Providing administrative support for P&C; projects and events
- Provide P&C; advice and information, respond to inquiries, and help implement and manage P&C; business processes to ensure efficiency
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support in a People and Culture environment
- Highly developed organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills, including providing clear, accurate, and timely information
- Advanced computer skills and the ability to use a range of computer applications
- A commitment to working in a team environment
Desirable, but not required:
- A current Class C (minimum) NSW Driver's Licence
- A relevant tertiary qualification in People and Culture or a related field
- Experience with HR information systems like TechOne or Oracle
