About the opportunity
Due to our accelerated growth strategy, we are currently recruiting for an experienced installer and maintenance technician based in our Newcastle office. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-profile brand supplying products and services to government, civil, commercial, industrial, and domestic building sectors. The successful candidate will be tasked with the on-site installation and maintenance of our solar powered technology-based security cameras and solutions throughout the greater Newcastle region.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery, installation, and maintenance of our solar powered cameras
* Providing exceptional service to existing client base
* Complete all delivery related paperwork including vehicle safety checklists
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience (minimum 6 months) in on-site deliveries and installations using a Hiab crane or similar
* An aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting
* A high regard for safety and following established procedures
* Excellent communication skills
* HR or MR truck licence
* Forklift licence (LF) is desirable
* Previous experience with electrical and solar components
* Security licence advantageous, or ability to obtain:
Requires a National Police Check, NSW driver's licence, and you need to be an Australian/New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a visa to work in Australia (not including student or working holiday visa)
