Job Responsibilities
* Diagnosing faults related to engines and parts.
* Performing scheduled maintenance services to ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
* Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts.
* Dismantle engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components.
* Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components referencing service manuals as required.
* Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired.
* Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance, diagnose and test parts with the assistance of scan tools.
* May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.
Qualifications
* Our KedronBranch requires a fully qualified motor mechanic.
* Must be qualified, experienced and able to work without supervision.
* Successful applicant will have their own tools and will be provided with specialised vehicle testing equipment and software to inter-connect with vehicle-specific tests.
* Minimum of 2 years post‐trade qualifications and ability to service and maintain modern motor vehicles.
