About the Role:
The Department of Defence is seeking an Administration Officer to join our Disposal Services Branch. This role is a crucial part of a small coordination team and will be responsible for setting work priorities, managing workflow and resources, and assisting in branch management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing administrative support to senior staff members, contributing to strategic planning, program and project management, governance, and assurance activities.
* Performing procedural, operational, administrative, governance, and assurance business support activities.
* Managing workflow and resources, setting work area priorities, and team plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise discretion.
* A considerable level of experience with stakeholder engagement, identifying, anticipating, and responding to stakeholders' needs and expectations.
