Direct Access and Equipment is a 100% Tasmanian family owned hire company that requires the services of a qualified Workshop Mechanic with occasional Onsite and Field Service work to join our Hobart team. Experience in either hydraulic systems or auto electrical diagnosis would be an advantage, but not essential to join us in this fast paced industry that is always evolving and never boring. With back up training and support from both internal resources and ongoing factory support, you will always be at the forefront of the everchanging hire industry.
This full time position is available for an immediate start.
The successful applicant will have a minimum post trade qualification, however a 4th year apprentice or a suitably experienced non qualified trades assistant may also be considered for this role.
A full drivers licence is required and either a fork lift or EWP licence would also be an advantage. You must have the ability to work autonomously in a small team environment, and willing to learn and share knowledge with other staff within the company.
The successful applicant will receive both comprehensive in house training and factory tech support including one on one factory training.
