They’re known for practical project delivery, strong field leadership and safely delivering technically challenging infrastructure projects. With a solid pipeline of upcoming work nationally, they’re continuing to grow their delivery teams across multiple states. The Gig Based on a FIFO roster, this role will support the delivery of a gas lateral relocation project located approximately 40 minutes outside Adelaide. Working closely with Supervisors, Superintendents and the broader project team, you’ll help coordinate day-to-day construction activities across active work fronts. This is a hands-on field engineering role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the works rather than sitting behind a desk. You’ll support construction planning, work packs, RFIs, QA documentation, subcontractor coordination and progress tracking while helping keep works aligned to program. The role would suit a Civil or Mechanical Engineer coming from pipelines, utilities, gas, water, sewer or broader linear infrastructure backgrounds. Strong contractor-side experience and the ability to work closely with construction teams will be highly valued. You will be trusted with: Coordinating day-to-day field engineering activities across active construction work fronts Preparing work packs, construction documentation and engineering deliverables for supervisors Managing RFIs, TQs and technical queries throughout project delivery phases Supporting subcontractor coordination, planning and daily site execution activities Tracking project progress against program, production targets and delivery timeframes Assisting with QA documentation, ITPs, as-builts and project closeout requirements Liaising closely with supervisors, survey teams and construction personnel on site Supporting reporting and flagging potential scope or cost impacts early Participating in permit processes, safety planning and project compliance activities Maintaining accurate daily reporting, records and progress documentation across the project What’s in your toolbox? Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree with practical site delivery experience Experience across pipelines, utilities, water, sewer or linear infrastructure projects Strong understanding of contractor-side construction and field engineering environments Ability to coordinate works closely alongside supervisors and construction crews Experience managing QA documentation, RFIs, TQs and engineering reporting requirements Strong planning, communication and problem-solving capability within live project environments You’re the kind of person who enjoys being close to the works, solving problems as they arise and working closely with supervisors and crews to keep construction moving.
