About the Role
As a School to Work Programs Facilitator, you will play a key role in connecting young people with real-world career opportunities. You’ll coordinate and deliver programs, build partnerships with employers and schools, and support students in developing the skills and experiences they need for their future. Travel to our offices in Romsey & Wallan expected at times, this role will be servicing schools in the Mitchell Shire.
This is a part-time role (0.6 EFT – 3 days per week), commencing immediately, funded through to 31 December 2026 (with potential for extension subject to funding).
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and support CRLLEN’s School to Work programs and events calendar
* Facilitate the Ready, Steady Careers program (Years 7 & 8)
* Source and coordinate work placements, SBATs, and career immersion opportunities
* Build strong relationships with local employers, schools, and community organisations
* Support students, including those who may face barriers to placement, into meaningful opportunities
* Maintain accurate data and reporting via S2W systems
* Contribute to events such as the Vocational Education Awards
* Assist in developing a network of guest speakers and industry connections
* Participate in local VET clusters and business networks
* Collaborate with the CRLLEN team on innovative programs and initiatives
About You
You are a motivated, organised professional who thrives on building relationships and making a difference in young people’s lives.
Essential:
* Experience in education, community services, not-for-profit or government sectors
* Understanding of school and vocational pathways (VET, VCE, VM, VPC, SBATs, etc.)
* Strong organisational/administration skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to build partnerships with a range of industry and community stakeholders
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant industry experience

Additional Requirements
