Role Description
Due to continued expansion, AMEK Engineering has full time roles available in SA, WA metro, WA Pilbara (Tom Price) and Newman. These are full-time, roles for a Dual Trade Refrigeration & Electrical Technician, electricians and refrigeration technicians.
The primary duties include maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems as well as electrical systems within a variety of facilities. Additional responsibilities include routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting system malfunctions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with team members to deliver excellent service and solutions to clients. The role demands attention to detail, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in dynamic work environments.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in refrigeration and HVAC systems, with knowledge of installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
* Competence in electrical systems and ability to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs safely and efficiently.
* Strong adherence to safety standards and regulations, alongside a commitment to ensuring workplace and operational safety.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to work independently on tasks while maintaining strong time management and organizational skills.
* Current certifications or trade qualifications in both electrical and refrigeration disciplines.
* Previous work experience in similar roles within HVAC and electrical servicing is highly advantageous.
* Possession of a valid driver's license and relevant safety certifications such as White Card or equivalent.
