About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer to join Coogee Chemicals' Major Projects team in a permanent, full-time role, providing technical leadership and delivering complex project solutions across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, installation and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for industrial projects
* Develop project plans, manage budgets and ensure project deliverables are met on time and to a high standard
* Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to coordinate project activities
* Prepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings and reports
* Provide technical support and problem-solving during project execution
* Ensure projects adhere to all relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* A minimum 10 years' experience as an Electrical or Instrumentation Engineer in the chemicals, resources or manufacturing industries
* Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver complex engineering projects
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Familiarity with relevant Australian and International electrical and instrumentation standards
* Proficiency in Microsoft apps
* Strong numeric, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work well both independently and within a team
