About the role
ACX Projects is seeking an experienced Excavator / Loader Operator to join our commercial retaining wall construction team on the Sunshine Coast and Northern Brisbane suburbs, Queensland.
This is a casual position, with an opportunity for the right candidate to lead a crew with lucrative incentives.
What you'll be doing
Safely operating medium to large excavators to assist with peir drilling, slinging posts & sleepers.
Candidates must have specific experience operating medium-sized excavators (8-20 ton).
Working typically 10hrs/ day Mon-Fri.
Must Have
* White card
* Dogmans ticket & demolition saw ticket an advantage
What we're looking for
* Several years' experience operating excavators in a civil construction environment
* Minimum 5+ years of excavator operating experience required
* Willingness to learn to read and interpret site plans, job specifications, wall design tables and safety documentation
* Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem‐solving and leadership skills
* Commitment to working safely and a good understanding of construction site hazards
* Relevant plant/machinery operating licenses and certifications
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
