About the role
This full-time Inventory Administration Support position at BrownWigg offers a fantastic opportunity to join leading retailer of Rural Merchandise and Hardware throughout Gippsland, servicing the Agricultural, Domestic and Industrial Sectors.
Reporting to the Inventory and Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the overall supply chain operations.
Relevant qualifications in supply chain, logistics or a related field would be highly regarded but not mandatory
What you'll be doing
- Product file maintenance.
- Management of current products.
- Maintain up to date and competitive pricing across the range.
- Ability to analysis and report on inventory data.
- Coordinate and oversee ongoing stock take targets.
- Efficiently handle all staff product enquiries.
- Develop effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and provide timely support.
- Identify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and make recommendations for improvements
Key Selection criteria
- Proven experience in an inventory administration or similar support role, ideally within a retail environment
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset to continuously identify and implement process improvements
- Ability to effectively represent the company with a positive outlook, a desire for personal growth and pride in personal presentation.
- Ability to work within the team environment, encourage and support other team members.
