About you:
* Minimum 5 years managing medium to large workshop.
* Qualified diesel mechanic with 10 years experience.
* Experience with Kenworth, Mercedes, Cummins and Volvo, desirable but not essential.
* Experience in general fleet Maintenance.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
* Competent with the Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Outlook and Excel.
* Gearbox experience desired.
About the role:
* Strong leader and mentor to 15 workshop team members.
* Manage Toolbox, Safety Alerts, Factory recalls and defect management clearance.
* Manage admin of Workshop Management system.
* Responsible for managing/roster of the workshop 24/5 plus weekend.
* Fridge experience advantageous.
* Volvo & Kenworth/Cummins experience required.
* Be on call as escalation.
