Project Planning and Controls Professional
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Planning and Controls Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) systems and tools to inform project management on project cost, schedule performance, and risk status.
Responsibilities:
* Provide subject matter expertise in planning and controls, applying knowledge of specialist toolsets such as Primavera P6, Cobra, and Oracle.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and associated WBS dictionaries.
* Participate in the establishment and maintenance of approved cost and schedule Project Management Baselines (PMB).
* Manage and process approved baseline changes.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of control account structures and associated Responsibility Assignment Matrices (RAM).
* Undertake detailed planning activities, including rolling wave planning and developing Control Account Plans (CAP).
* Support monthly reporting activities, capturing actuals, status, Estimates to Complete (ETC), and undertaking detailed variance analysis.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to implement business requirements and ensure timely and accurate monitoring, reporting, and performance measurement throughout the project execution lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Project Controller / Project Scheduler / Cost Schedule Analyst.
* Strong understanding of Earned Value Management principles.
* Experience in scheduling/planning with Primavera P6 or OpenPlan.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Current Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
