Fizzio For Life is an allied health centre dedicated to delivering ethical and personalised care through hands‐on physiotherapy and exercise physiology services. Specialising in areas such as musculoskeletal physiotherapy, women's health, cancer rehabilitation, and active ageing, we are committed to improving the quality of life for our clients. Our services also include hydrotherapy, in our on‐site clinical hydrotherapy pool, and group exercise classes to promote holistic well‐being. Your Part
We are seeking someone who thrives on a diverse range of patients, injuries and conditions, who can support our growth and provide outstanding care to our awesome and diverse patients. Our focus is on hydrotherapy, MSK, NDIS and the management of chronic conditions, but we are happy to support your specialty area as well. This role will include 8 hours per week of aquatic therapy. Our therapists get in the pool with our patients.
You will like dealing with complex cases, and be used to dealing with patients holistically considering psychosocial factors, diversity, inclusion, and exceeding patient expectations.
You will be ready to take on extra responsibilities in this role. Your innovative ideas and skill‐set will be supported and encouraged. Experience in women's health and cancer rehabilitation is desirable. Training and support offered for aquatic therapy.
Qualifications
* Expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and aquatic therapy.
* A willingness to invest time in one of these areas of interest will be supported: women's health physiotherapy, cancer rehabilitation, or lymphoedema management.
* Strong ability to assess and create individualised treatment plans for diverse client needs.
* Proficiency in patient documentation and clear communication with multidisciplinary teams.
* Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
* Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently within an allied health team.
* Previous experience in NDIS or related services is an advantage.
* Commitment to delivering patient‐centered, ethical care.
* First aid and CPR certification preferred.
