Coastwide Readymix Concrete is a locally owned and operated company supplying ready-mixed concrete to the building and construction industry across the Central Coast NSW for 35 years.
We currently have multiple positions available for Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers working across our Gosford and Warnervale locations. While a HR license is essential, experience in agitator operations is not necessary, as training will be provided.
Our Agitator Drivers are responsible for the delivery of ready-mixed concrete across various job sites located throughout the Central Coast from the Hawkesbury to Lake Macquarie.
We operate 6 days per week, Monday - Saturday typically between 5:30am - 5:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Delivering pre-mixed concrete to client sites along with managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete.
* Complete basic daily delivery documentation, risk assessments, driver log books and reports in accordance with company policies, procedures and NHVR/licensing conditions.
* Communicate effectively with customers, project stakeholders and general public.
* Demonstrate high standards of safety, ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgement when driving, operating or working with or around vehicles and plant.
* Complete daily vehicle pre-start inspections and perform general vehicle and equipment maintenance.
* Attend and participate in toolbox talks, meetings and training events.
* General yard duties as required
About you:
* A current HR drivers license with minimum 12 months experience and suitable driving record.
* CPCWHS1001 White Card - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
* A strong knowledge of the region and ability to locate sites.
* Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work to a high standard unsupervised.
* Provide superior customer service
* Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality and environment and a strong work ethic.
* Basic literacy, numeracy and digital skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* Be able to perform all duties associated with the position, including manual handling.
* Be willing to work regular overtime and Saturdays when required.
* Relevant concrete industry experience will be highly regarded however training will be provided.
* Willing to attend a pre-employment medical and undergo daily drug and alcohol testing.
* Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
