Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Health Information Specialist to join our Health Information team on a full-time basis. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-level assistance and support to the operational management of Health Information services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct routine audits for clinical forms, medical records management, documentation, and release of information in accordance with accreditation standards.
2. Develop and review procedure manuals and policies, implementing changes in consultation with senior management.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to oversee non-admitted patient data correction and accurate activity capture.
4. Train staff in key functional areas as required.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Public Health, or equivalent, with strong analytical skills and technical expertise.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with experience working with stakeholders including administration staff, nursing, and medical specialists.
* Familiarity with electronic and paper-based health records systems, patient administration systems, and related procedures.
