The Opportunity
The People and Culture Team at Sealink - K'gari are seeking a Part time Recruitment Officer to join the team. This role plays an integral part in supporting the operations with their recruitment, onboarding and Induction needs.
This is a part time role consisting of four hours a day, Monday to Friday. The recruitment officer will support SeaLink K'gari operations including Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari Beach Resort, K'gari Explorer Tours, marine operations and support services, and will be part of a team that values integrity and teamwork
About You
You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator (both verbally and in writing) with close attention to detail, you ensure compliance with relevant legislation and obligations at all times.
You will also have the following:
* understanding of recruitment activities and using a recruitment system.
* understanding of employment legislation and working visas,
* ability to work in a face paced environment, quick turnaround times
* Be flexible and able to adapt to managers recruitment needs
* Ability to support and influence managers to progress candidates in a timely manner.
* Coordinate new employee's arrivals, accommodation and induction
* Updating relevant documentation
* Ability to work with the P&C team & provide support to colleagues where needed.
* Can do attitude, and problem solver.
* Understanding of the tourism, hospitality and transport is highly regarded.
Key to success in this role, you will be able to work independently in a fast-paced and diverse environment. You will also have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and be able to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
