The Head of Change Management is accountable for building the change management capability and ensuring highly coordinated change management principles, processes and practices are adopted across the transformation office and business.
This role will drive the effective operation of the Change Management Framework including the assessing and reporting of the Single View of Change (SVOC) and Change metrics as well as leading the Change Management Community of Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the execution of best practice change management using Change Management Framework and Toolkit.
2. Act as the primary change management expert, delivering change management advice to change managers, project managers, sponsors, and business stakeholders, to enable ongoing change management maturity across the business.
3. Be accountable for the Single-View-of-Change (SVOC) tool, data integrity, analysis and insight reporting to executives and other project stakeholders
4. Provide high level change management advisory, scoping and impact assessment to executive sponsors & program directors at the planning stage
5. Engage and influence the executive team to drive user-centred change management decisions about project and overall portfolio delivery approaches, to maximise the likelihood of change success
6. Design and implement change capability building initiatives that enable enterprise change agility.
7. Be responsible for the change management business case partnering with the project team.
8. Provide change managers and the business with advice on change management approach, tools and templates
9. Represent and act in the interests and needs of frontline end-users of new/changed policies, processes, technology and ways of working, to maximise the adoption of changes to ways of working
10. Create trusted, influential relationships with project team members, executive sponsors, business leaders and the CEO, to build their change leadership capability and improve overall change management maturity
11. Attend executive team meetings and project governance (steering) committees as needed/requested to share SVOC insights and change management advice, to guide quality decision-making
12. Partner with internal communication resources, to ensure alignment of communication activities with change initiatives across the portfolio and ensure alignment to transformation narrative
13. Lead a Community of Practice of change management and project professionals aimed at driving quality, consistent change practices and building capability
14. Engage and support key project stakeholders to ensure each project is well-positioned to manage and implement change activities
Skills / Experience:
15. 5+ years in Change Management supporting complex enterprise environments in medium/large sized organisations
16. Undergraduate qualifications in business or behavioural sciences.
17. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methods, and tools.
18. Experience with medium and largescale organisational change efforts.
19. An in depth understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
20. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.

23. Interacts with all stakeholders in ways that demonstrates respect of social and cultural differences
